"Great place to stay if you plan on roaming around New York and just need a place to flop at the end of the day. The rooms are small (hey, it's New York) and no-frills, but clean and comfortable. Good air conditioning (I stayed here in July). The staff was very welcoming. Excellent location. 10/10, absolutely would stay here again."

"Carlton Arms is a wonderfully weird hotel, and I absolutely loved it! The artwork is amazing - I’d seen lots of review photos, but you really have to see all the incredible details with your own eyes! Location was perfect. Shared bathroom always available when I wanted it! (I stayed in early March). I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again, if ever I make a return trip to New York.
