"This market isn’t very well-known, so it doesn’t get too crowded, which makes the atmosphere fairly calm. Prices are slightly on the higher side—a slice of pizza costs around $11. The flower shop stands out with unique arrangements, and the bar also looks quite nice. The location is excellent, which is a big plus. On the second floor, there’s a large open platform where people gather every Sunday to dance tango, which gives the place a relaxed and charming vibe. There’s also a restroom on the second floor, and the whole space feels clean and well maintained. The basement isn’t open at the moment, and overall the business feels a bit quiet, almost slightly declining—but there’s still a wide variety of vendors and plenty of interesting things to explore. Overall, it’s a great spot for a casual weekend stroll and soaking in the local atmosphere, rather than a destination for a specific meal."

"Essex Market is a great place to visit whether you're a local or tourist. The selection of places to eat is excellent. Tacos, burgers, ice cream, soup and sandwich, fresh baked goods, cake pops, sushi ... There's also a couple of small grocery stores. Plenty of seating upstairs as well as a small reading nook. There's a record store and a bar & I think there might even be a movie theater. Double check that before going. The vibe is super cool and it's a real NYC experience. I've lived in the neighborhood for over a year and can't believe it's taken me this long to go in there!! 10/10 recommend"

"A beautiful upgrade! Clean, modern, and full of variety** I’ve been to the new **Essex Market** a few times now, and it’s such a great addition to the neighborhood. For those who remember the old market that shut down years ago, this new location is a total breath of fresh air. This was my first time visiting the new space, and I’ve already gone back 2–3 times. The first thing you notice is how **nice and clean** everything is—the seating area is great and even the bathrooms were spotless, which I really appreciated. There is a huge variety of different vendors, but a major highlight for me was stopping by **Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery**. I tried the **Chocolate Chip Deliciousness**, and it was incredible! Whether you're grabbing a full meal or just a snack, there is something for everyone here. **Verdict:** 5 stars. It’s clean, organized, and has a great vibe. Definitely worth checking out!"
