"Had a great time. The croton river is beautiful. Grew up in the area and it is truly a magical place. Booked a kayak for my wife and myself. The day came and they informed me that it was low tide and that it wouldn’t be worth it to go as we wouldn’t get the full experience, wouldn’t be able to navigate all the way up the river and that they could offer a credit. Nearly a year later the stars aligned and we had a day off together when our daughter was at daycare, the weather was perfect and the tide was high. They honored the credit and we had a wonderful time. We saw a mother deer and her babies cross the river, got some exercise, and had a great time!"

"We got there about 45 early as we traveled from Long Island and traffic was good. No problem, they set us off early and still gave us full time + on the river. The staff was very helpful and the equipment was very nice. Perfect weather on this trip. Lots of wildlife and the tide time was perfect. We definitely recommend HRR. We will be back"
